Michelle & Bill’s Magical Winter Engagement
Winter engagement sessions can be some of my favorites to shoot. They feel so magical… the snow falling, twinkle lights and especially when it’s with very special people. My good friends Bill & Michelle recently got engaged at Handmade For The Holidays. You might remember the proposal from a past post.
Michelle, Bill, Bugsy (their Boston Terrier/Pug Mix) & I spent the afternoon in the snow. We spent some time in Sherwood at the cutest little tree stand place, same one my family and I went to for our Christmas Tree. It was lovely old wooden barn, cafe lights, and lots of beautiful Christmas trees. Just darling.
Michelle made the session extra special by creating some little diy goodies for the shoot, star headbands, flannel headbands, a bow tie for Bugsy. I expect nothing else from Michelle, after all she is the owner and creator of Dainty Daisies. They were oh-so-cute! After the tree stand we spent some time at High Cliff where everything was covered in this gorgeous layer of ice. It made everything glitter in this beautiful couples winter engagement shoot. I had such a fun time with these two! Michelle even gave me a couple of nifty gifties which I adore! She gave me a Blythe doll that looks like me and a Mini Cooper ornament with a Christmas tree on it! After our session we got some din-din at Victorias and enjoyed a couple of cocktails before they returned home. All and all it was a beautiful day! Here are a few favorites from the session, so happy for you guys! x0- laurie marie
