Rivoli Theatre Wedding with Jenny & Mike: Cedarburg, Wisconsin
Jenny & Mike’s wedding at the Rivoli Theatre in Cedarburg was super cool! Jenny & Mike have a gift for creativity and design and they surely outdid themselves on the day of their wedding! There were so many wonderful DIY details like movie theatre ticket programs, custom designed Dumb and Dumber & Harold & Maude movie posters, custom designed save the dates & invites. Even Mike’s cufflinks were little film reels, so fitting for the Rivoli Theatre Wedding.
The Rivoli was opened in 1936 to the people of Cedarburg and In 1956 it was purchased by the Cedarburg Landmark Preservation Society. It is a beautiful theatre and with the restorations they have been working on, it looks brand new but with all the touches of an old-school theatre. So cute!
This wedding left me laughing like crazy! Mike surprised his groomsmen with fanny packs filled with batman name tags, like the ones you get at Great America and a condom, I have no idea why they would need that (wink, wink) lol. These guys were a riot! Later in the night a dancing banana showed up and some of the groomsmen put on a choreographed dance to the Backstreet Boys. Everyone was super fun and danced the night away at The Black Swan in Grafton.
So many details were carefully thought out and reflected this couple perfectly! At the reception they had a hand painted guestbook canvas, band-pins for everyone, vinyl record table markers, and best of all their initials are MJ so they had Michael Jackson vinyl records lining the head table. Like I said, so creative :)! Little polaroids were used throughout the day too. A super cute one was used for their cake topper. I just adored everything about this wedding and loved the couple even more :)! Thanks for being so awesome you guys! xo- laurie marie
