The longer I’ve been in business, the more I have figured things out. The kind of clients I want to work with, the type of photographer that I am and how I want to communicate with the world through my branding. So I have begun the re-branding process, I am working with the wonderful crew at Hype Visual/Progress Media and I am so excited to share the process with you. We began the process with a long discussion about my work, personality & ideal client.
From there I pulled together a Pinterest board with images, design, typography that felt like me and that I believe is a good representation of my style and personality. The team at Hype then began their process by sketching on a large roll of craft paper which was so exciting to see, it was like christmas :)!
They rolled out the craft paper of illustrations for me and I got a chance to go through and pick out bits and pieces that I liked and evaluate what it is that I liked about them. They took that information and have now entered into the realm of digital media where they will begin the illustrative process and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
Designing a logo isn’t just clip art and selecting a font. True design starts from a relationship and translating one persons vision into another’s imagination, then drawing sketches translated by the artist. I am so grateful for these guys, they have taken the time to get to know me over the last several years and I feel that relationship we have built makes for some amazing design work. Design is a process and in a few months I will have an amazing logo and new branding to unveil to the world! I’m super excited to share it with you all! Check out images from the process and get a sneak peek at the crew in charge of making it all happen below.
