Yesterday was beautiful, high 50’s and sunny! So I took the opportunity to visit one of my upcoming couples wedding venues. I will just say I am so in love and can’t wait to shoot their wedding. The wedding will take place at the brides parent’s hobby farm. This place is one of the cutest, storybook like places I’ve ever been. From the hand painted decor inside to the beautiful antiques outside, everything about this home was warm and inviting!
When I arrived at the door two adorable Sheep Dog puppies Lovey and Gigi greeted me. They made my heart melt instantly. They were so friendly and welcoming (I wanted to take them home with me). :) After my greetings from the pups I met the parents. They were both so sweet and accommodating, they showed me around the place and I was in awe of all of the little details put into their home. You could tell their home had a lot of love and care put into the design. Another love of mine (antiques & design)! They told me that many friends had helped with the creations within and let me just say … amazing!
When we headed over to the barn I learned about Llama’s and their demeanor. They are very social creatures and several of them allowed me to pet them. I will admit I was a tad nervous being that close to them at first but after seeing my bride’s mom with them I felt a relief and knew I’d be fine. They are very gentle beautiful creatures and they seemed very curious about my camera. It was such a neat experience; I’ve never been around Lama’s that close before!
Between the dogs, llama’s and the amazing kitchen table I wanted to take home, I would have needed a bigger truck ;)… and probably a new place to live after my husband kicked me out for all the new pets lol! Kidding aside everything about this place has truly inspired me and I can’t wait to create an amazing story for this couple! I so excited to do their engagement session in June and the wedding in August! Check out some of the fun images I got during my visit :).
P.S. This wedding is exactly why I love outdoor weddings! It is truly unique and their own. xoxo- laurie marie
