El Presidio Historic District: Tucson, Arizona

Austin and I made a little stop at the El Presidio Historic District, lets just say this girl was in heaven! :) So many colorful doors and windows, total eye candy! We walked the neighborhood for a few hours looking at all the beautiful old homes. Austin high-fived a cactus and ended up tweezing the prickers out most of the way while I photographed the houses.

The El Presidio Historic District is one of the oldest inhabited neighborhoods with it’s adobe and brick buildings. It features architectural styles of the Spanish-Mexican, Anglo-American & Eclectic flavors. I just adore the spanish tiles, potted cacti and unique doors around here. It is one of the prettiest neighborhoods I’ve seen in the city of Tucson and I’m so happy we got a chance to see them. This is totally the kind of house I’d want if I lived here!
